The Emma Andrews Library, on the corner of Purchase and Marlboro Streets, kicked off its Fall Local Author Series with a speaker who hails from far away and just down the street. An Irish woman, Aine Greaney who has lived in Newburyport for over a decade, just received news that her latest novel, Dance Lessons, has been selected for the 2011 National Reading Group Month. She shared the background of the novel and her writing process with a standing-room-only crowd for a very successful launch of the southend library’s Local Author Series.
