Bill Gette, Sanctuary Director at Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center, will narrate a slide show on the wildlife of Montana at the Joppa Flats Education Center at One Plum Island Turnpike on Wednesday, August 24, at 7:30 p.m.

Photographer Cindy Batya Geller of Dorchester will be showing her photographs of nature’s sacred moments in her exhibit, The Radiancy of Nature, at Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center from July 31 through September 11.

Have you ever wondered what species of fish live in the waters around Plum Island? If you have, now is your chance to quench your curiosity. Matt Ayer, aquatic biologist for the Massachusetts Division of Marine Resources, will conduct a free public lecture at the headquarters and visitor center of Parker River National Wildlife Refuge on Thursday, May 19th from 7:00 – 8:00 pm.

Dave Weaver, veteran birder and resident of Manchester-by-the-Sea, will give a presentation on his recent trip to Guyana at Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center on Wednesday, May 18, at 7:30 pm. This program is open to the public, appropriate for all ages, and free to Mass Audubon’s members; the nonmember fee is $4. No preregistration is required.
