With the arrival of June comes the opening of Newbury’s Spencer Pierce Little Farm, a place my family could visit over and over again. There is something about kids and animals. No matter how grumpy my boys are, a few minutes of patting a horse or feeding a goat seems to make everything all right. Come to think of it, it leaves me feeling a bit more relaxed as well.

Opening weekend continues on Sunday with the Lynn Live Oaks and Bristol Blues from 12-3.
