Whiny Wednesday – Spencer Pierce Little Farm

With the arrival of June comes the opening of Newbury’s Spencer Pierce Little Farm, a place my family could visit over and over again. There is something about kids and animals. No matter how grumpy my boys are, a few minutes of patting a horse or feeding a goat seems to make everything all right. Come to think of it, it leaves me feeling a bit more relaxed as well.

Vintage Baseball at Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm

It’s New England vs. New York, 1860’s style on opening day, May 14, 11-4 at the Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm! Watch and cheer as the Essex Base Ball Club takes on the Brooklyn Atlantics, one of the best vintage teams on the East Coast, and the Ipswich Brewers. Opening weekend continues on Sunday with the Lynn Live Oaks and Bristol Blues from 12-3.
