Entertainment by the Community – For the Community Variety Show that took place on Friday September 14th, 2012 at the Firehouse Center for the Performing Arts, in Newburyport, MA
The evening show was held to benefit ROOF Over Head Collaborative, Inc.
Local business owners and community leaders presented a lesser seen side of their public selves in the form of singing, dancing, acting and other performances. The multi-media evening promises to be an uproarious and heartwarming good time with plenty of impressive performances and laughs, all while raising awareness and funds for the growing issue of family homelessness in the area.
ROOF is a non-profit organization providing housing to local families in transition in Newburyport, Amesbury and Salisbury. ROOF currently hosts three area families, helping them with housing and social services support through a partner organization to help them to financial self sufficiency.
