Ahoy Mateys! Well the long awaited visit of the tall ship the HMS Bounty is finally here! The Chamber along with the City of Newburyport and Chase & Lunt Insurance are thrilled to welcome the Captain and crew of the HMS Bounty to Newburyport this weekend.
The schedule of events is as follows:
Friday 7/13 – HMS Bounty arrives in Newburyport at approximately 8 AM (Tours originally scheduled for Friday are cancelled due to the late arrival of the ship – we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.)
Saturday 7/14 - The Ship is open for tours from 10 AM – 5 PM. The Plum Island Pans will play music in Waterfront Park from 2 – 5 PM. At approximately 8:30 PM – grab a blanket and join us for “Treasure Island” on the big screen in Waterfront Park – sponsored by Chase & Lunt Insurance – starring the Bounty herself!
Sunday 7/15 – The Ship is open for tours from 10 AM – 5 PM. Join us for “Much Ado about Something” presented by the Firehouse Center For The Arts in Waterfront Park – two performances at 1 and 3 PM.
