These very popular programs provide an excellent opportunity to explore one of the most productive birding areas in the country. To date, over 310 species of birds have been sighted on these Wednesday field trips.

Seniors are invited to “play” various sports, dancing and competitive-style interactive games using the big screen television. All skill levels, including beginners, are welcome.

‘IMMIGRATION MATTERS: WILSON NDJIBU’

Mr. Ndjibu and his family, members of the small Jewish community of Congo, were forced to flee their homeland after acts of
murder and kidnapping against them and their families. They flew to South America, and then began an arduous 18 month journey by foot to the U.S. border in Texas, finally arriving in Boston as legal immigrants in February 2011.

REFUGE – “BEHIND THE SCENES”
REFUGE TOUR

Parker River National Wildlife Refuge

Join a refuge ranger for a behind the
scenes tour of Parker River National
Wildlife Refuge. Tour will be conducted via
refuge van, with several brief “drive by”
stops along the way. Participants will visit
areas on the refuge otherwise closed to the
public.
