Theater in the Open (TITO) is very excited to bring you a twist on the holiday classic, It’s a Wonderful Life, back by popular demand.  Tickets for the seven performances (December 15-17 at 8pm; Sat – Sun, December 17-18 at 3pm; and Thu-Fri, December 22-23 at 8pm) are on sale now and may be purchased at the Box Office (Wed-Sun, 12N-5P), by telephone (978/462-7336), or online at www.firehouse.org .  Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for members, students and seniors.

Written by Joe Landry, It’s a Wonderful Life – A Radio Play is based on the beloved Frank Capra film but done in the style of “the golden age of radio.” Come watch and listen as George Bailey discovers that life really is wonderful and see how Clarence, angel second class, acquires his wings. Listen in as radio station WBFR brings us a live broadcast of this treasured story. This is a production that literally evokes laughter and tears but, most of all it evokes memories of a story most of us grew up with and that the world loves.  Join Theater in the Open as they transform the Firehouse Center into a 1940′s radio hall, complete with sound-effect foley artists, singing sponsors and old fashioned holiday spirit.
