Please join the Booster Clubs from Amesbury and Newburyport High Schools, and your friends and neighbors from both communities, as we team up to continue a tradition of helping our neighbors in need during the holiday season. Donations made at this year’s game will be support the local food pantries at The Salvation Army and The Pettengill House which service over 10,000 families from Amesbury, Salisbury, Newburyport, Merrimac, West Newbury, Newbury, Rowley, Byfield and Groveland.
A Collection site will be set-up at the Thanksgiving Day football game between the Newburyport Clippers and Amesbury Indians being held on 11/24/11 at World War Memorial Stadium in Newburyport, MA.
The following non-perishable items are needed most: Canned Beef Stew, Pasta, Cereal, Canned Soup (especially chunky soups, chicken noodle & tomato), 100% Juice (large cans or plastic bottles), Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruit, Pasta Sauce, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Baked Beans, Canned Ravioli, Shelf Stable Milk (Parmalat) Personal Care Products: Shampoo, Soap, Toothbrush/paste, Bathroom Tissue, Deodorant, Diapers (larger sizes), Dish Detergent
Healthy Snacks for Kids: Raisins, Granola Bars, Apple Sauce, Dried Fruit, Goldfish. Graham Crackers.
