Greetings from the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and Industry! We are one week away from my favorite holiday and no, it’s not because of the turkey and all that comes with it…it is because as so many of us do at this time of year we stop to give thanks for all the blessings in our lives. Well I am blessed to have found a second, happy home in the greater Newburyport area. Just this past November 1st I celebrated my five year anniversary here at the chamber. I still cannot believe that it is has been five years…well do they say “time flies when you are having fun!” Speaking of fun and things to do, there are always a number of things to do in the greater Newburyport area. Tonight and through the weekend you can check out The Christina Experiment, Guys Night Out, the NEF Auction and the Mayor’s 2nd Annual Health Fair. It’s also coming to one of my other favorite times of the year – Christmas! - The tree is in Market Square as of today and it’s a beauty! Next on tap is the annual Santa Parade and Tree Lighting hosted and coordinated by the Newburyport Rotary Club and the Chamber! Please take note of our calendar of events and mark these dates for you and your family and friends:
- Santa Parade and Tree Lighting – Sunday, November 27
- Invitation Nights – Fridays, December 2 and 9
- Santa’s Workshop – Saturdays and Sundays in December 11 AM – 2 PM
