Join Anna Jaques Hospital for the second annual Heart & Sole High Heel Dash, brought to you by AJH and Interlocks Salon & Day Spa, to help raise awareness for women’s heart health. We are challenging men, women, and kids 12 and up to a 50-yard dash—in high heels!
Saturday, November 19, at the Newburyport Bartlet Mall.
Race begins at 11:00 (sharp)

Last year, the challenge was met with gusto, as a festive crowd in wigs, Santa hats, feathered boas, and a wide range of colorful footwear hit the pavement for women’s heart health. As spectators cheered and waved signs, Team Interlocks Salon & Day Spa, Team AMR Ambulance, and Team Rasamaya led the pack to the finish line.
The Heart & Sole High Heel Dash is to remind men and women to take care of their hearts, especially as we enter the winter holiday season:
• Eat fruits & veggies every day
• Don’t smoke
• Exercise at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes
We walk in different shoes, but we share the same heart. Let’s take care of it.
