The “Rip It n’ Clip It” Event took place on June 17th, 2011 at the Amesbury Sport Park. Participants included Newburyport Mayor Donna Holaday, Amesbury Mayor Thatcher Keezer, Essex County Sheriff Frank Cousins, Provident Bank CEO Charlie Cullen, and State Representative Mike Costello, as well as legions of family, friends, and teammates of Nate.

The Nathaniel Bibaud Recovery Fund was established after Nate sustained a life changing injury. Nate was in a very serious car accident on Dec. 11, 2010 which resulted in a dislocation of his spinal vertebrae (a C5 level injury) which has left him paralyzed from the chest down. The fund’s goal is to collect donations for his transportation, and long-term rehabilitation.
