Each month, Anna Jaques Hospital profiles a business in our town that contributes to the health of our community. This month the Make One Change spotlight is on Pettengill Farm.
Pettengill Farm welcomes you to its historic flower farm that has been in their family since 1792. They strive to grow for you the latest and greatest in annuals, perennials, shrubs, and roses. On Saturday, April 30, please join Pettengill Farm for the “It’s Showcase Time” Spring Open House! This all day event will feature free mini classes from 10a – 12p, refreshments, prizes and more.
Springtime, the farm is busy in their 13 greenhouses growing a breathtaking array of colorful unusual annuals and perennials for your gardens and containers. Pettengill Farm holds classes and seminars to help you put together plant material that will have visual impact in your garden.
In the Farm’s courtyard, the display gardens are a ‘symphony for the senses’ and nestled in the center of it all is the cozy cottage of their on-site landscape designer, MaryAnn, in her “Order up a Garden” studio. She is here to work with you to help make your garden landscape dreams come true.
