This week Greg ran into students who were using Newburyport as the backdrop for their film project.

Patrick ( in tee shirt) was the director. He is a theater student at Triton and told Greg that he likes to both act and direct. Someday he would like to own his own entertainment company someday. For now he is looking forward to the Fall when he will be a student at Salem State majoring in theater.

Clifford (in sport coat) was the actor in for their production. He also goes to Triton where he took classes in theater production & drama. They were working on filming “Doubles” for their media production class final. It has since aired on Viking television – a weekly show produced by the students at Triton.

Their film production was about about two young men who are best friends. Clifford plays Tucker who has a double appear suddenly. The double doesn’t speak and the two friends try to figure out what he wants by using hand signals.

Patrick and Clifford came to Newburyport because of the variety of locations and all the people on the street. We are happy to report that they got an A for the project!
