Keller Williams Realty Cuts Ribbon on New Office

Home sales may not yet be what they were a few years ago, but in another sign that the residential market is bouncing back in town, Keller Williams Realty, Inc., officially cut a ribbon on the office at 1 Merrimac Street. It opened the office for business in January.
The office has about 30 agents in Newburyport and almost 70 between this office and an affiliate office in Topsfield, said Jason Parisella, the operating principal of the offices.
The Newburyport office is headed by Kathy Brogan, a Newburyport resident.
Parisella said: “Our plan was always to open an office in Newburyport.” But earlier there was more momentum in the Topsfield housing market. He said the “time is right” to open an office in Newburyport.
Helping with the ribbon cutting were Ann Ormand, president of the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce, and Mary Holmes, president of the Greater Newburyport Association of Realtors.
Realtor magazine has ranked Keller Williams as the fastest growing residential real estate firm in North America, according to the firm’s news release. Nationally it has close to 73,000 agents serving 650 market centers.
Agents who will be working in the new Keller Williams office include Joyce Adams, William Barrows, Marilyn Berger, Frank Bertolino, Jake Bruce, Lea Cabeen, Kelli Cassidy, Janet Cena, Sally Cote, Dena Dehullu, Irene Durkin, Gail Fennessey, Eliabeth Graves, Stephanie Hans, Bill House, Paula Hugo, Pat Iris, Maureen Knowles, Kristen Leone, Trisha McCarthy, Barbara Moynahan, John Nutile, Casey Peicott, Alex Pittman, Barbara Posnansky, Donna Quinlan, John Robertson, Sheryl Sterner-Caldwell, Carolyn Welch and Alexandra Zega.
Brogan said: “Our agents are great. And the company is very community minded.” She said she will be looking for opportunities for the company to be involved in the community and chances for her and her agents to volunteer.
