Greetings from the Greater Newburyport Chamber of Commerce and Industry! In and around Greater Newburyport this weekend and upcoming week. As always there is so much going on in the greater Newburyport area. Why not consider?

  • Alice in Wonderglass
  • Cooking Class Series
  • Livingston Taylor in concert
  • Five Funny Females
  • Tom Rush in concert

Now that I have your attention why don’t you go to our web site and find out more about these great chamber member events. http://www.newburyportchamber.org/calendar_of_events.shtml

I also wanted to bring your attention another great service that we offer to chamber members. We offer a weekly Member2Member email program in which chamber members can directly communicate via email with other chamber members. These very popular Member2Member emails can be shared with anyone. Often times the information is a banking service offer, a new restaurant menu or announcement of a special event. So here is a sample of this week’s offerings.

And if you are feeling lucky! Why not try your hand at a Chamber’s Big Win ticket. Only 500 tickets will be sold and each one of those has the chance to win $10,000 or lower prizes as well. Tickets costs $100 each. The cost of the ticket can be split among you and your friends, co-workers and family. The drawing will be held on Thursday, March 18 at a chamber mixer featuring food, cash bar, games and live entertainment by 97 North. It’s the Newburyport Party not to miss!! For tickets call or stop by the chamber. Also, I would like to take a moment to thank the special events committee that has been working on this great event – many thanks to Kim Gobbi from Newburyport Today, Lori Guertin from the Essex Street Inn, Lois Honegger from the Mayor’s Office, Paul O’Brien from Encompass Premiums and Apparel, Dianne Sirard from Soak, Carl Strube from WNBP, and Jane Yandell from the First National Bank of Ipswich.

And as always, don’t’ forget to follow us on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

So get out there and enjoy all that the greater Newburyport area has to offer. For more information just go to www.newburyportchamber.org. We hope you have a great day!
