Views from the Water’s Edge

New Hampshire photographer Godfrey (Jeff) Sluder is the featured artist at the Laura Coombs Hill Gallery of the Newburyport Art Association. The exhibition, Views from the Water’s Edge, runs from March 11 to March 17 with a reception in the gallery from 7 to 9PM on Friday, March 12.   His exhibition of digital archival prints depicts landscapes of rivers and shorelines from Nova Scotia to Florida.  The gallery is located at 65 Water Street, Newburyport, MA.

The common thread throughout the show is water.  Sometimes water is the focus of the image; sometimes it simply enhances the landscape.  “Each photograph captures a moment in time.  Light, form, color and pattern converged to create something magical.  The goal of this show is to inspire viewers to stop, see, and experience the beauty in the world around us.”

Jeff is a member of the New Hampshire Society of Photographic Artists and the Newburyport Art Association as well as contributing photographer to the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests.  He has previously shown his work at the Oasis Cafe’ Gallery and the ARtists West Studios in Waltham, Massachusetts and the conservation Center in Concord New Hampshire. Jeff maintains a website atwww.sluderphotography.com.
