Kim, Marena (5), and Harley travel from Salisbury every day to downtown, to take advantage of the boardwalks and sidewalks. “We wish we lived here!” Kim said, “it’s such a great place to walk, even in the winter, with the gorgeous views and cheerful atmosphere.”

Teddy, a poodle, and Lilly, a Bijon Frisé, sit with Teddy's owner on a bench on the waterfront. "They demand their daily walk down here", she says, "Good thing they just went to the groomer's!" Indeed, they were perfectly coiffed for post-walk portraits.

Rose, from Seatte, Washington, and Gingi, a Marblehead resident, window shop along State Street. I noticed they had Book Rack bags, and asked if they had come down to go book shopping. "We're not just book shopping, we're every-shopping!" Rose said, reminding us that Holiday shopping season is right around the corner!
