Spencer, 12, Sarah, 10, and Andrew, 11, perch in one of the green's trees that they had just climbed. "We're just down here playing!" they said, on recess with the group from the Inn Street Montessori School. Lucky to have the waterfront as a playground on such a beautiful day!
Ryker and Kai, German Shepherds, accompany their owners, from Groveland and Haverhill, on a shopping trip. "We take them down here all the time," their owners said, carrying a newly aquired bag from Life Is Good!
Shae, 13 months, from Merrimac, cruises down Water Street, under the watful eye of his proud grandparents. "We take him down here every chance we get," they said "Newburyport is such a beautiful city to walk around- and even at night, we feel safe."
