We can think of no better way to start the week than with a note from Esther Sayer. Esther is the owner of Inn Street Barber Shop, and has been the “Eye on Inn Street” for over 25 years.

Lets see-Well spring is certainly here on Inn St,the sounds of squealing children, playing @ the Tot Lot-or sometimes the wailing children as they are being hauled away for a nap or dinner,it’s always a welcome sign. Most assuredly is the smell of hot dogs grilling as Shirley’s wagon rolls back to it’s station-gotta get one on opening day-yummy. The trees are in bloom as are many peoples allergies, and ah yes lets not forget the everyday comment could be warmer or it’s to hot -all in one day. Yes it’s that long awaited right of passage into spring. We have two new additions to our block Englands Ice Cream-nice folks-good ice cream (just what I need!) and a new needlepoint store next door-which could be a new hobby!! People seem excited about it,we had one in that location years back and it did quite well – Good Luck to both of you, and welcome to the hood! Enjoy the fun of spring as we get ready to roll into summer.
See you downtown,

Esther
